Sandi Smith

"My name is Sandi Smith. I have lived in Leavenworth for 10 1/2 years and have been the Secretary of the RACCM Board for 10 years. I had visited the Center prior to moving here and said that I wanted to volunteer at the Museum at some point. I believe it's important to continue to educate the public of the rich African American history in our country. I recently retired from USD 453 where I had been a paraprofessional at Leavenworth High School for 10 1/2 years so working with the youth to help them succeed is also high on my list of priorities. The tutoring program at RACCM is stellar and is making a difference in our communities."
